In November, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI most generously gave us the Apostolic Constitution Anglicanorum Coetibus, his response to Anglo-Catholics who seek to heal the 500-year-old split between themselves and the Catholic Church, while offering their centuries-old liturgical, devotional, and theological heritage and patrimony to, and for the benefit of, the Catholic Church.
Now, in 2012, the structure defined by Anglicanorum Coetibus has become a reality in the United States, in the form the the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter.
At the Newman Fellowship, we're “on the road” while we pray God to lead us to a new church home; but wherever we gather around the Altar of God, we know ourselves to be “living stones” of a holy temple. We have put ourselves in the hands of God as we prepare ourselves for unity with the See of Peter.
Please join us. You will indeed find a warm welcome.
